Never forget the first time I saw one of these. I was 12 at a car show with my father, at a Ford dealership (so it was basically all Fords) and I saw one of these pull in, it was yellow, and I thought it was a Lambo, until I heard it. Then later saw the beast of a motor out back.

I have had a slight obsession with these ever since then.

I first saw a couple of these at a Mustang cruise and wondered "what the hell are a couple of Ferraris doing at a Mustang cruise?" That was right up until they fired up. Then I was all sorts of confused.

Gotta say, I love pretty much all of DeTomaso's cars. Italian look on a decidedly German budget.
